Assignment: The deliverables for this project were to design a logo, menu, social media post, food truck mock-up, sticker, and table tent. Each student had to design their own version of a logo for the culinary team and they would choose their favorite.

Design Solution: This was a very fun and relatively easy project due to the free-range we were given by the Chef Team. What they wanted for their Chef’s Table is a Pan-Asian-themed menu with the name Ahiru which translates to Duck in Japanese. They wanted the logo to be a simple minimalistic duck which the Japanese wording inside and being inside a circle. The Chef’s team wanted the menu to be in a scroll form but it didn’t have to be functional to go along with Japanese architecture in the background. The extra deliverables they wanted for the chef’s tables were stickers and comment cards to go along with the food packaging, menu, and table tent. I was in charge of designing the Social Media post, Comment Card, and the stickers for the chef’s table in which I illustrated a Japanese Torii on the comment card and Social Media with a bridge on the stickers. I wanted to make sure the designs were consistent throughout.
