Assignment: The deliverables for this project were to design my own currency based around the sites and city of Providence, Rhode Island. The $1, $5, $10, and the $20 were the bills we had to design. I looked at inspiration from other countries and how the incorporate color, typography, and imagery in creating their distinct currencies.

Design Solution: This this was a project that I also redesigned in sophomore portfolio but, due to COVID I couldn’t fully use imagery of PVD in my new designs. Now that we’re back on campus I wanted to take some great pictures of the landmarks throughout the city and make the bills look more realistic by exploring better typefaces, and lighter colors.
